Simply Sunday Challenge: Fantasy

Today is the start of a new Simply Sunday Challenge over @ Getting Cricky and I am totally Excited about it! Before I get into that let me just say that I am so very sorry that I totally forgot to announce the winner from last week's Blog Hop (You guys that have been following me for a long time know that I am Horrible @ that lol) but like usual Charge it to my head and not to my heart!! Now I usually let the Crew Members pick a number but because they are so busy with their lives right now (playing xbox, barbies, and reading the kindle is very important lol) plus I need to hurry and get this post up I just decided to use Random.org so the comment it picked was #13 Sugarlips Congratulations Girl! Now on to this fun challenge, As stated before this Simply Sunday Challenge Theme is Fantasy. We were asked to interpret this however we wanted, my mind immediately went to Mermaids, Unicorns and Fairies (maybe because Crew Member 2 Loves all of the Above so that's all we hear about around here). I immediately wanted to use a stamp set of Kristal's that I hadn't gotten a chance to use yet and it fit in with the theme PERFECTLY!

I had seen a Youtube Video of a tent card awhile back by Splitcoaststampers that I wanted to try and I decided that this was a good time to give it a shot:

Hello Diva's! It is a Soaked Saturday for us today w/ freezing rain. So I am hoping to get some crafting done since I will definitely NOT be going out there in it! Today starts the Beginning of a new challenge for us, over at My Sheri Crafts. If you all have never played along with us I am telling you that these challenges are ALOT of fun! This week's challenge is New Things we are asking you to include in your creation a NEW technique, NEW things you got for Christmas, New Items just purchased NEW NEW NEW! I went to Youtube to help me find a new technique and I came across a video by Kristin of   LilsweetpeaVideos . Guys when I say that this was so easy to make, that is exactly what I mean! Kristin's tutorial was very clear and very easy to follow I love that. As a mom of 5 I don't have ALOT of time to get in my CR and work so when I do want to try new techniques and different designs I need something QUICK and CUTE lol. So what do you guys think of my PNH?

Hey Diva's! How has your Thursday been going so far? Mine not so good I have had a whiny 1 1/2yr old all Day who is just now falling asleep for her nap (hence why this post is just going up). I don't know what's going on with Crew Member 5 she is not feverish at all. But for the past couple of days she has just been so fussy and I don't know why. Today she cried the whole way through lunch why IDK!!

 Now for my project for today. As you know I have been doing all different types of  folds/designs this week just b/c I needed to step outside of my Box a little. And today I wanted something really simple and easy but still really nice. I went to Youtube (LOVE IT) and found a Video on how to do a bookmark. Guys I am telling you that this was the quickest project I have ever done (SERIOUSLY) and I love it! I am going to make some for Crew Members 1 and 2 as they love to read!!

Last night was so busy for me that I didn't get to finish up my project for today. I do have something for your viewing pleasures although its an Oldie I like to think it's a Goodie lol!

Ok now For my project, I told you guys that I was going to be trying out different Designs/Folds this week just for a little fun. I had this project that I had done a few months back and I wanted to show you all again because I Love the Design of it! This card is called a Spring Card it is sooo easy to make! I chose the sentiment that I did because alot of times when women have breast cancer they tend to lose their hair because of the Chemo that they have to do. But inspite of what they "See" they still Fight to get well because their Faith is so strong! So this card is for all you Strong Women out there!

For my project, I told you guys yesterday that I was gonna be trying out different Designs/Folds just so you can see the Versatility of Kristals Stamp Sets. My Good Friend Christel of OneScrappinSista Loves her some Madea (for those that don't know who Madea is "Google Her" lol just kidding, Madea is one the Main Characters from alot of the Tyler Perry Plays) so I made this ATC for her. An ATC is basically a "one sided" card. I once again used a Digi from Robert Jackson as you all can tell I am really loving his Digi's lol.
