25 Days of Christmas: Day 1

Hey Divas, Happy 1st Day of December!! Can you guys believe that today is the 1st Day of the Last month of the year?? OMGoodness this year went by sooo fast! So as you guys read in the heading this is the 1st Day of my 25 Days of Christmas Challenge to myself. Ok so this is what happened, I looked through my posts and I noticed that I did not get but 1 Fall card done last month and I was upset w/ myself because I have kinda been putting crafting on the back burner w/ Everything else. So I was chatting with my FB friend Christel of Scrapping Sista and I asked her if she thought it was a good idea for me to do a 12 Days of Christmas meaning I would make a differernt card each day and post it to share w/ you all. Of course being the Awesome and Encouraging person that she is, she said "I know you can" so I said ok Cool Beans I'm going to do it. BUT I took it a little further ( just can't quit while I'm ahead) and said well how about 25 Days of Christmas so here we are!!

Diva's so you all think I'm Crazy?? Because I think I have stepped in some deep poop w/ this one lol. I am going to try my hardest to get this challenge done but I will need you all's Support! Will you guys help me out a little, by leaving Awesome Comments (as if you don't already do this) and letting me know you are there so I don't feel like I'm blogging w/ myself lol.

So for the 1st project in the series I decided to get started on my daughter's Christmas Party Decorations, she asked if she could have a little get together w/ some friends, I told her that was fine so we are now starting to prepare for the 17th. I will post more pics of other projects as we finish them.

Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge

Hey Diva's! Happy Sunday Monday! So over the weekend I was traveling and also attended the MOST EXCITING Football GAME of my Life (Cowboys vs. Redskins) I was so excited about the game that when I typed up this post I didn't realize that I didn't schedule for it to post on yesterday like I should have so it was just sitting there as a Draft...My Bad!!

I am so happy to be joining the Wonderful Girls over @ Getting Cricky for this week's Simply Sunday Challenge! As you guys know I got picked up for the GC team and I am soo so Happy! For this week's Simply Sunday Challenge we are to Give Thanks! I am Thankful for so many things so it was hard to just pick one project! But the one thing that did stick out in my mind was when I lived in GA we really didn't get to enjoy the Seasons. GA has really one season Summer lol, even though it does get a little chilly you don't get to see the changing colors of the leaves in Fall or the Snow in Winter. So since moving to VA my family has really been able to ENJOY the seasons. I also looked at things in a spiritual aspect of it, even though we loved GA our season there was up and it was time for a change! So that is what my Card represents me be thankful for "Seasons".

The inside sentiment reads as:
"To Everything there is a Season and a Purpose under heaven." Ecclesiastes 3-1
Recipe:
Cart: American Alphabet ( preloaded on E2)
CuttleBug Folder: Polka Dots
Sentiment: K Andrew Designs ( Scripture Sayings)
 Ink: Memento (Rich Cocoa)
Pop Dots
Ribbon: Autumn Inspirations (Print)
Crinkle Ribbon: My Craft Spot  ( Milk Chocolate)
Bling: i-Rock
Adhesive: ATG, I-Rock
Paper: Print (Recollections "Simply Autumn"), Solid ( Recollections)

Now that you have seen my project Stop by Getting Cricky to see all my DT Sisters AWESOME projects and also come join us in this week's Challenge we would love to have you!

I will be linking to these challenges:
Crafty Sprouts: Anything Goes
The Pink Elephant Challenges: Giving Thanks

Recycled Project!

Hey Diva's! I have been Super Duper busy around here I haven't had anytime to get any crafting done, the hubby had to leave for training in TX so I'm Mom and Dad right now. But that's neither here nor there ( lol I always wanted to say that) I first need to Announce the Winner of the K Andrew Stamps *Drumroll Please* lindaplus3 she said "Hello. I am a new scrapper, hopper and follower... looking forward to all the great ideas... " Congratulations Linda send me your snail mail to letilliaslaughter at yahoo dot com so we can get that stamp set out to you *You will have until Tues Nov. 1 to claim your prize!!* . 2nd, I need to tell EVERYONE Thank You for all the Love during the Blog Hop I had so much fun and found so many new friends, to All the New Diva's, WELCOME and Thank You for being a Fabulous Follower!! 3rd, Thank You to all that left me some tips on how to clean my Cricut I ended up using the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser ( Thanks Jo) and it cleaned it really good except for right up under the button ( how she managed to get in there is Beyond me) but for the most part it's squeaky clean again!

Now onto the project, So I tried to challenge myself to do a recycled project, my Bestie Lakeitha over @ L. Michelle's Creations10 ( GO check her out guys she has an Awesome Blog) is always Recycling things so I guess you can say she inspired me lol!
I started w/ this container
And with the help of some Scrap paper, Glue and a little Bling, I now have a cute little home for my Memento Markers!

That's It, How simple huh! I will say if you are going to do this take the label off the can first, I learned the hard way because shortly after I glued the paper on, my paper kept popping off. But as soon as I took the label off I had no more problems! Well that's it guys, Thank You for stopping by I love you guys your the Best!

Football Card!

Hello Diva's! How have you All been doing? I have been busy busy with School just starting Tuesday and getting back into a routine. Today is Crew Member 1's Birthday he is 13 today :( I was so sad when I went in his room this morning to sing Happy Birthday 2 him ( on their birthdays I wake them up and serenade them w/ the Happy Birthday song they just smile and laugh!). Anyhow I didn't have time to get his card made before this morning but I just finished it so he will get it as soon as he gets home! I had a hard time on figuring out what to do because I wanted to tie in his 3 most favorite things (besides me lol) Football ( he has been playing since he was 6yrs old and he is very good @ it), Video games ( what 13yr old doesn't), and Snickers lol! But they all just didn't seem to come together like I wanted! So I seen this sketch design over on Skipping Stones Designs that I really liked so I went with it ( I am beginnig to really LOVE these Sketch Design Challenges)!!

I wanted it to really look like a football field so the numbers on the side represent his birthday 09-08-11 like yard lines.
