She is having a Team Umi Zoomi Birthday Party ( for those that don't know Umi Zoomi is a Cartoon that comes on Nick Jr) so I wanted something that kinda fit in that theme. PCW: Spring Projects inspired by a Song.

Hey Diva's, Happy Terrific Tuesday!! I hope you all are having an Awesome Day thus far as I know I am! I am Excited about todays Post as it allowed me to Tap into my Childhood. Today starts a New Challenge week over @ PCW. Our theme this week is Spring! We have all created different Spring type projects inspired by a Song.

I mentioned Earlier that my project took me back to my childhood and I bet your wondering how, Wellll let me tell you: When I was in Elementary School we had what was called the "Teddy Bear Parade" in my city. All the local children would come out to the Park and we would Parade around the Whole Park with our Teddy Bears. Some Dressed as Fairies, Others Dressed as Clowns, Some Brown Ones,Some Black ones and Some even Rainbow Colored. Some in Strollers and Some on Backs. Big Bears and Little Bears and Even In Between Bears (Ok I feel like Dr. Seuss that was last weeks Challenge, lol). At the end of the Parade we would all have a Big Picnic in the Park with our Teddy Bears and our Parents!

As a little Girl I looked forward to the day of the "Teddy Bear Parade". My Brown Bears name was "Mr. Henry" Respectably named after my Dad Henry. I lovvveeedddd that bear and I was so sad the Day I left him on a Charter Bus on a High School Field Trip (that's a whole other story for a different post). Me and Mr. Henry went Everywhere with each other and it was Always our time to shine @ the "Teddy Bear Parade".

So my dedication to Mr. Henry is this Card I made with him in mind:
(Not Pictured: Inside reads "For a Picnic" designed in Word)
Recipe:
Cuttlebug Folder: Preserves
Twine: From my Stash
Ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black)
Paper: Kraft Paper (Recollections), Black (American Crafts: Foil)

So What do you guys think..Isn't he so steenkn Cute? I was so glad when I remembered I had gotten this Digi from Cooking With Cricut's 25 Days of Christmas, It was one of the Free Digi's that Melin offered. I thought what perfect time to use it then now when the birds are starting to Chirp again the Weather is AWESOME and you can smell Spring in the Air! The Perfect Song for this Digi would Definitely have to be the "Teddy Bear Picnic Song" Go Check it Out on Youtube!

Well that's it Guys, Please Come Join us this Week @ PCW for this Awesome Challenge!

Be Blessed and,

Dad Birthday Card

Hey Diva's! I wanted to pop in and share a card with you all that I made for my dad for his upcoming birthday. This card is a little different for me I actually followed a sketch to design it and I'm really loving how it turned out! I hadn't participated in a challenge in awhile so I kinda wanted to get back into the swing of things as far as challenges go.

So w/o further ado here is the card:
Recipe:
Cart Used: Father's Day
Cuttlebug Folder Used: Happy Birthday
Rope: From my Stash
Ink:Memento-Tuxedo Black
Paper: Recollections

Like I said before I am Loving how this card came out! I am trying to try new techniques that I have learned here and there and Inking is one of them. I think I am liking the look that Inking adds to cards and projects I'm just going to have to learn to "Master" it now!

But anyway I have a Date w/ the hubby so I'm going to go! Have a Great Rest of your Day Guys!

I will be linking to these challenges:

My Sheri Crafts #80

Hello Diva's, Happy Saturday to you all! Today marks a New Challenge over @ My Sheri Crafts and for this bi-weekly challenge we are Celebrating St.Patty's Day with Easel Cards yayyyy! For this Challenge we were asked to create an Easel Card and add a Shamrock. You guys that have been here for awhile know that I was LOVING this challenge right!! Why my new divas ask, well let me tell you, BECAUSE EASEL CARDS ARE MY TOP FAVORITE DESIGN CARDS that's why LOL!!! I love them and I love to give them. I also was excited because I really like St. Patty's Day, I remember growing up as kids we would always have to make sure we had on something Green so we wouldn't get pinched at school. I don't remember Ever getting pinched but I remember pinching ALOT of people (that's pretty mean huh, I should put myself in timeout). I know that's not the meaning for St. Patty's Day but for me that's what it was getting a chance to pinch all the lil  kids who were mean to me on any other day (maybe I need therapy because this is getting out of hand lol!!)

But anyway onto my card here is what I came up with:
Recipe:
Cartridge Used: Paper Doll Dress Up
Cuttlebug Folder: Preserves
Ink: Memento(Tuxedo Black)
Stitching- White Gelly Roll Pen
Bling: Recollections
Pop Dots: Recollections
Paper: Solid (Recollections), Printed (Martha Stewart Holiday Stack)

How Steenkn Cute is this card?? I love how it came out! I will probably be giving this to my hubby just so he can showcase it in his office or something, or maybe I will just keep it for myself (we'll see).  So now that I have shared my card with you I hope it has kinda gottten you in the mood to go and Create your own card for St. Patty's Day. If you're not quite inspired why don't you stop by My Sheri Crafts to go see my DT Sisters Works of ART and also our Guest Designer this bi-week Tracy and I GUARANTEE they will NOT let you down!

Before you go I have a Quick Question for you: What do you like to do on St. Patty's Day?
