Hello Diva's! It is a Soaked Saturday for us today w/ freezing rain. So I am hoping to get some crafting done since I will definitely NOT be going out there in it! Today starts the Beginning of a new challenge for us, over at My Sheri Crafts. If you all have never played along with us I am telling you that these challenges are ALOT of fun! This week's challenge is New Things we are asking you to include in your creation a NEW technique, NEW things you got for Christmas, New Items just purchased NEW NEW NEW! For this Challenge Our Guest Designer is the very talented Joni of Joni52 Stamps and Scraps please go check out her and My wonderful DT Sisters projects HERE.
I decided to try a New Technique so I made a Post-it-Note Holder:
Recipe:
Sentiment: K Andrew Designs: Fashionable Friends
Flower: K&Company
Ribbon: From my Stash
Bling: Recollections
Paper: Solid(Recollections), Print ( DCWV)
I went to Youtube to help me find a new technique and I came across a video by Kristin of LilsweetpeaVideos . Guys when I say that this was so easy to make, that is exactly what I mean! Kristin's tutorial was very clear and very easy to follow I love that. As a mom of 5 I don't have ALOT of time to get in my CR and work so when I do want to try new techniques and different designs I need something QUICK and CUTE lol. So what do you guys think of my PNH?
Now it is time for you all to go in those Crafting Spaces and get your Craft on w/ a New Thing! Then Come join us at My Sheri Crafts for the challenge, We will be waiting for you!!

This is great!! I need to make some of these. I have about 4 post it note stacks in my classroom. They would look so cute in a holder.
I just love the colors of yours and the big flower on it!!

I had to laugh, this is what I was going to make for my project for something new, lol! I actually made post it note holders for my girls, and DIL for Christmas! I took pictures and everything! I ended up making three projects before I decided to send in the ribbon centerpiece instead, lol! Love the look of your post it note holder! I just love polka dots! :)
Hugs,
Sandy.
Your PNH is FABULOUS, Letillia!!! I think these would be fabulous teacher/daycare provider gifts, as it's practical and something everyone needs/uses!!! I often wonder how we ever survived before there were Post-Its?!!!
Stopping by to say hi ...where's the BLING on it?!! Just joking, it's a great, easy to do project and I'll have to try it! Glad you were able to stop by my blog as well!!
Creative Wishes,
