Birthday Card

 Hey Diva's, How are you guys today?  I have a quick post I wanted to share w/ you guys this evening so I hope you guys enjoy it! My friends little boy just turned 4 on last week so we ( Crew Member 3 and I) decided to make him a birthday card! I called my friend and asked what were some things that he was into this year and she said Basketball and Dinosaurs! Once she said it I knew exactly what I wanted to do ( don't you just love it when that happens)!!

I used K Andrew Stamps for my Sentiment. As stated a million times before I LOVE K ANDREW Stamps!

I had to draw the lines on the basketball because for some reason the image was just acting up.

Recipe:

A5 Card

I'm so pleased with how it came out! Boys cards are usually hard to do but I think this one came out really well. Well that's it like I said this was going to be a quick post lol!

Hey Divas, Happy Monday to you all!! I dropped in today to share w/ you all a couple of things. Last but definitely not least, on last Friday Crew Members 4 and 5 and I made sum Thanksgiving Turkeys. The little girls aren't in school yet so we hang out and craft together sometimes. I seen a cute little Turkey online that used toilet paper rolls (can't remember what the site was so please forgive me), and  I wanted to try it w/ the girls. I can say that the project worked really well w/ Crew #4 but Crew #5....all I can say is "WHEW!!"

The girls had a really good time making their Turkey's and I just loved spending time w/ them and creating some memories. The project was alot of fun to do we laughed w/ each other, cried a lilttle ( Crew # 5 of course), and we saved money because we used what we already had and that's always a plus. If you guys have little ones I would suggest doing something like this w/ them. You Guys Be Blessed!!

My Sheri Crafts Challenge # 73 Be Thankful

Hey Diva's, Happy Saturday! Today marks the day for a New Challenge over at My Sheri Crafts. This week's challenge is "Be Thankful"  we are asked to make a project/card with a Thank You or Thanksgiving Theme. I am Thankful for so many things; Life, GOD, Family, and all of you guys just to name a few, but I am also Thankful that I got a scrapbook LO done! Yayyyy * This is where you say "It's About Time Letillia" lol I know, I know. Lord knows I am the Queen of putting things off patiently wating, and one of those things has been getting a scrapbook page done.

I really wanted to do one just because I felt bad for not doing one in so long but also because I had bought a kit and I needed to put it to work so I did!!

I saw the 3 Birds "Best of Fall" papercrafting kit on HSN ( 2 of my favorite companies) and I said to self "Let's try that out and see how it works" so I ordered it. When it first came in the mail, I honestly will say that I didn't think I was going to like it and I asked the Hubster, "Why did I buy this?" But something said keep it and I did, it politely sat in the closet for about a month or so and then I decided to use it. Once I started playing around w/ it  I found out that I actually liked it.

The line that is going down the middle is because I actually took 4 cards that came with the set cut them down the middle and used one side of them ( it had another print on the other half). You won't be able to see it once I put my picture on top of it.

This LO took me literally about 15 mins to put together that includes figuring out what pieces I wanted to use, cutting the cards and gluing it down!

I now know that I will be ordering some more kits because pretty much all the work is done for me and all I have to do is put it together! And let's be honest I'm a Mother of 5 ( 6 counting the Dog) and time is something unheard of. I need to make things quick fast and in a hurry, once the kiddos grow up then I will have time- Right?

Good News, A Celebration, and a Giveaway!

Sunday Inspiration # 1

Hey Diva's! Happy Sunday to you all I hope your Day has been a Blessed one thus far! I would like to start a new segment on my blog called "Sunday Inspiration", Every sunday I will post a project that really Inspired me to make one (something like it) myself and will hopefully  Inspire you to do the same. I think we are all here to be inspired and also to be inspirations so I thought what better day than to do this segment than on Sunday. I hope you guys will enjoy these segments and I would love to hear from you so leave me lots and lots of comments lol. For the very 1st one I want to share w/ you  the wreath that I made for my front door yesterday. Now this wreath has been floating around bloggy world like crazy lol, I first saw it on Cristi's blog over @ scrappin5littlecupcakes which she said she saw it on Laurens Blog @ larenscreative and then just last week my bloggy friend Candace of mypassion4scrappin also made one. When I first saw Cristi's I told myself "I am so making that for my door!" and I did!

2 Skeins of Yarn (your choice of color)

4-5 Sheets of Felt

Pepper Berry Pick

2-Pumpkin Picks

Hot Glue 

Scissors

Wire Cutter

Now I followed Cristi's Tutorial to the "T" I used mostly the same materials, the only thing I changed to make it a little more personal was that I didn't use the acorns I instead used some pumpkin picks that I already had in my stash. I also did not use the Brown ribbon I had some of this "Fall" ribbon leftover from a wreath I made last yr so I just used that. I love the way it turned out and it goes w/ my yard decor perfectly!! I will definitely be making more of these I already have people asking me to do one for them so that makes me smile!

It was fun doing this project because, I got to use a cartridge that I have had for awhile but never use it ( honestly I've only used it once) and now it's your turn, so Pull out the cart ( if you have it) turn it to pg. 43 and get busy on your project for this weeks challenge! A little Trick or Treating!

Hey Diva's! Finally Halloween  is over and my mind can rest for a little while before it starts wondering what we are going to be next year! This year we changed our minds about a billion times before Crew member 4 decided for us what we were going to be, PIRATES!! I would have never thought that we would dress up as Pirates but we did and I can say even though things were last minute and we were down to Crew Members  (The Hubby and Crew Member 1 who is a "teen" and is now to "Cool" to go trick or treating but not to "Cool" to raid his sisters candy bags lol) we Rocked it!

This is as good as it gets I couldn't get a good picture of all of them all night!!

This was Crew Member 4's first "Real Halloween", she was to young to remember the first 3 but we had sooo much fun last night (can't you tell by that smile) and she has been talking about it All Day today. ***Memories!!!***
