Football Card!

Hello Diva's! How have you All been doing? I have been busy busy with School just starting Tuesday and getting back into a routine. Today is Crew Member 1's Birthday he is 13 today :( I was so sad when I went in his room this morning to sing Happy Birthday 2 him ( on their birthdays I wake them up and serenade them w/ the Happy Birthday song they just smile and laugh!). Anyhow I didn't have time to get his card made before this morning but I just finished it so he will get it as soon as he gets home! I had a hard time on figuring out what to do because I wanted to tie in his 3 most favorite things (besides me lol) Football ( he has been playing since he was 6yrs old and he is very good @ it), Video games ( what 13yr old doesn't), and Snickers lol! But they all just didn't seem to come together like I wanted! So I seen this sketch design over on Skipping Stones Designs that I really liked so I went with it ( I am beginnig to really LOVE these Sketch Design Challenges)!!

I wanted it to really look like a football field so the numbers on the side represent his birthday 09-08-11 like yard lines.

Butterfly Card

Hey Divas! So Crew Member 2 has a birthday on Monday and she has been counting down since last month (she is so my child lol)! I decided to go ahead and make her card before I got to busy and totally forgot and then have to go buy a store bought card (Not Cool!!) her favorite colors are yellow and purple hince the color scheme! I hope she likes it!

Mickey Mouse Frames

Hey Diva's as you guys know I just moved to a new place. As I was unpacking I decided to get rid of alot of stuff and start completely over! Being that I love Disneyworld and the Mouse I decided to make the kids bathroom all Mickey *Insert your Happy Dance Here* I couldn't find any pictures that were w/in my price range that I loved so I pulled the Cricut out and went to work on these picture frames! I am so EXCITED on how they came out and if I do say so myself they look Absolutely FAB in the bathroom so much so everytime someone goes in there I'm like "Hey what are you doing in there, go in and come out Do Not touch the Mouse" lol!!  I birghtened the pictures up so that you could see the designs in the background paper a little better.

Frames: 8 in X 10in $2.00 @ Kmart

Font: 3in and Mouse Shadow 5in on Cricut E2

Papers: Me and My Big Ideas Black and White(Polka Dots and Fancy Design), and Red Design is from my stash, the solid black white and red are all Recollection.

Cut the background paper @ 8in x 10in to fit in frame

Hurricane Irene

As most should know Hurricane Irene is in the East Coast right now, as you guys know I just moved and it just so happens that I'm in VA right where she has decided to pass through! My family and I have evacuated to a place in central VA so we are safe ( all praises to GOD), I ask that you all will pray for the people still there as I'm sitting here watching the news I have just heard that there has been 3 deaths including a child all to do with trees falling on homes or cars so I also ask that you all pray for the families who have lost a loved one! I just wanted to check in and I will definitely keep you all updated!

Blessing Card

Hey Guys Iiii'mmmm Baaackkk :) did you miss me lol? We are now starting to settle down in the new house and new state, I'm telling you moving from one state to another is a BUGGER! But I am very Thankful to GOD that we made it safely and everything found its way here in-tact (except for my vase that my husband promises he is going to replace since it was his fault that it broke lol)! So I made a deal w/ my oldest daughter (which from now on the children will be referred to as Crew Members and there birth order number,b/c when we are ready to go I always say "Ok Crew Round em Up lol) ie: Oldest daughter is Crew Member 2. Anyway she and I made a deal that if she gave up her room then she could get a Kindle for her birthday (did I just bribe my child?) I know what your thinking how can she do such a thing but seriously she had her own room @ our old house and she never stayed in it, she was always in the little girls room ( I would even find her in their room @ night sleep), so needless to say she said ok and I got a Craft Room/ Office YIPPEEE (doing my happy dance)!

Anyway let me get to the card b/c I know I'm just rambling on and on! My friend in GA helped me TREMENDOUSLY while we were moving and I wanted to send a card to let her know how much of a Blessing she is to me. I am Super Excited about this card because it is my first easel card  I had been seeing em around alot lately and I wanted to give it a try so you guys already know the drill let me know what you think and Be Blessed Guys!!
